EON Prepayment to Credit Meter
Hello everyone, I moved into a new property 3 weeks ago with prepayment meters, which was replaced with credit meters by EON quite quickly on 23rd Dec. My online EON gas account was updated to the new gas credit meter, readings, plan, etc. within a day. However, the electricity account is still showing the old prepayment…

British Gas
Am locked into tariff first time with British gas as I wanted paper invoices. This expires 28th Feb 2021. BG do not indicate if penalties are withdrawn (they say "you'll find out at the time", but not in so many words). I can see the new prices are higher than my existing contract, but other suppliers are lower. This tends…

British Gas new tariff - Electric Drivers Jan 2022
Just had a new tariff appear on my British Gas tariff options which seems incredibly cheap - "Electric Drivers Jan 2022". Anyone else got it? Can't seem to find it on comparison sites so is it an exclusive existing customers only tariff? My tariff ends March 2021 so looking to switch shortly but might go early if this is…

EON switch problems
I applied to switch to EON on 30th November through MSE cheap energy club. I switch most years so expected this all to go smoothly but EON are a nightmare! I supplied an electricity reading when asked, but couldn’t supply a gas reading online. Fine - so I sent it to them using that option on their website. I got a couple…

Octopus Go / Go Faster Tariffs
I'm not currently a customer of Octopus, but... Looking at the Octopus Go tariffs page for my postcode, there are 22 current Go/Go Faster tariffs showing as 13.72p/kWh and 25p/day SC. Are these tariffs all 5p during the cheap period? The reason I ask is that, for example the "Octopus Go Faster (5H from 2030) December 2019…

Scottish Power - SVR cheaper than renewal?
Good evening all, Just found a peculiarity with Scottish Power, in that my gas/electricity is coming for renewal very soon (I will be shopping around), but the SVR is coming in at £2/month cheaper for a 1 year fix and £5/month cheaper than a 2 year fix. Sorry if this is normal, but this just seems weird situation to me.
