Octopus Go / Go Faster Tariffs
Options
I'm not currently a customer of Octopus, but...
Looking at the Octopus Go tariffs page for my postcode, there are 22 current Go/Go Faster tariffs showing as 13.72p/kWh and 25p/day SC.
Are these tariffs all 5p during the cheap period?
The reason I ask is that, for example the "Octopus Go Faster (5H from 2030) December 2019 v1" tariff compared to "Octopus Go Faster (3H from 2030) December 2019 v1" seems a much better deal (5 hours compared to 3 hours) if they are both 5p/kWh for the 5 hours / 3 hours respectively.
If this is the case, I could easily charge my car in the evening and benefit from cheaper evening electric as well by choosing the 5 hour tariff rather than the 3/4 hour one from 0030. Am I missing anything?
Can you ask for any of these 22 tariffs in particular? I believe you email them after you've joined to switch to these.

The 3 hour ones are 4.5p/kWh, 4 hour 5p/kWh & 5 hour 5.5p/kWh.They are all "trial" tariffs. You can ask for the one you prefer, but it may not be available, as each slot is limited.1
