EON Prepayment to Credit Meter

Hello everyone,

I moved into a new property 3 weeks ago with prepayment meters, which was replaced with credit meters by EON quite quickly on 23rd Dec. 

My online EON gas account was updated to the new gas credit meter, readings, plan, etc. within a day. However, the electricity account is still showing the old prepayment meter, readings, plan, etc.

I’ve called EON to no avail. Could someone please advise what to do to resolve this?

    Morning Arefer, hope you're well.

    I'm sorry you've had to chase this up. When a meter is exchanged like this it should update overnight, however there can be a very small percentage that slip through the net. For this reason we have a team we can pass the details over to so that they can carry out the work manually. 

    On your new electric meter there should be a little tag attached to it. This will show the serial numbers of the old and new meters as well as the final and start meter readings. Can you take a picture of this and email it over to me please? You can find my email address on my profile (please do not message me directly on here).

    Once I have that information I'll be able to pass it over to be corrected for you and we'll get it sorted over the next couple of weeks. If you've moved onto quarterly billing it should be done in plenty of time for your first bill.
