London Energy - Cheapest tariff not offered on their website

I'm an ex-Tonik customer, currently with Scottish Power and looking to switch away.
London Power comes up on the comparison sites - 12m Fixed November 2020 v1 tariff is a competitive price for me.
I initially thought they were another tiny new energy co with no ratings so had avoided them. Now I find they are run by Octopus which is encouraging. It is a Sadiq Khan initiative to offer Londoners a decent deal. So what could possibly go wrong!
They do not let comparison sites run the switch so you have to go to their website to put all the details in.
12m Fixed November 2020 v1 is listed as a current tariff but when requesting a quote they offer a more expensive 'carbon neutral' tariff, with optional add-ons to extend to 24 months, or to plant trees.
Small print says to call or email for other plans - I think that is a little disingenuous but I'm prepared to go to the extra trouble of getting the cheaper deal.
It's surely the same gas and electric coming down the pipes and cables so I guess Sadiq is raising extra money for various projects to reduce London's carbon footprint.
Anyone else used them?

Mr Straw described whiplash as "not so much an injury, more a profitable invention of the human imagination—undiagnosable except by third-rate doctors in the pay of the claims management companies or personal injury lawyers"

The website does gives quotations for 'my london fixed yearly plan 12m fixed november 2020 v1' if you click on the icon.1

I can see the tariff but it won't give me a quote, or let me sign up to it online.
Small print says:We only show our greenest online plans during the sign up process. If you're interested in switching to any of the plans below, drop us an email at hello@mylondonpower.com or phone us on 0808 168 8145I've emailed them. They've responded and I've sent the details to get a manual quote which should be the same as I got on the comparison sites. Seems a little convoluted but it's a competitive rate, a better deal than SP and it's run by Octopus.

Allow cookies, disable your ad blocker, try another browser, persevere !It does work, but heaven knows why they hide their best rates.Perhaps they're afraid of following in the footsteps of Tonik, Robin Hood, Bristol, Yorkshire et al.0

Got it set up manually - via email communication.
Their 12m Fixed November 2020 v1 tariff ceased yesterday - in the middle of me getting a quote
Only just realised they've quoted a new Jan 2021 tariff which I accepted (thinking it was the Nov one but didn't check). Slightly more but not enough to back out of. It's still the cheapest I can get bar one with a £72 exit fee.
Lets see how smoothly the switch goes.Mr Straw described whiplash as "not so much an injury, more a profitable invention of the human imagination—undiagnosable except by third-rate doctors in the pay of the claims management companies or personal injury lawyers"0 -
Hiya,Same here, I had to sign up via email. I was switching from Octopus who actually run the London Power offer, so it was all very easy. All my info was there. It just has a different front end I guess.Their Fixed Price 12M January 2021 v1 was a good deal for me. A couple of days later when they actually switched me it had changed to v2. This was a little bit more expensive, but not enough to put me off.Stay safe and well everybody.1

Has anyone found their email a bit slow. I sent the original query and received an email the same day saying "yes we can switch you to the cheap tariff, please let me know what type of meter you have", to which i replied and have heard nothing back in 3 days. Do they send forms for you to complete? It just seems a bit amateurish if they want you to go down the email route.0

I sent them an email on Monday 4th Jan and after a bit of back and forth emails they set up my account on Wednesday 6th Jan.
Supply starts on 23rd Jan. Final meter reading 18th Jan. Let's see how it goes.
Got a call from SP with a pathetic attempt to retain my custom. I think they were going to offer a reduction but then said the switch had gone too far. SP wasting mine and their time with a pointless callMr Straw described whiplash as "not so much an injury, more a profitable invention of the human imagination—undiagnosable except by third-rate doctors in the pay of the claims management companies or personal injury lawyers"0
