Sainsburys energy have been transferring my supply since the 1st June
Hi, I moved house on the 1st June and took my Sainsburys cheap energy tariff with me to the new property. However they still haven't managed to transfer the Gas over from the previous supplier, they don't say what the issue is but dates come and go. I have just received a letter telling me that i am entitled to contact the…

Calculator to add up total price?
I've not had any luck finding the right calculator via google to add up certain things so I know my energy supplier is billing me correctly. I recently moved to Sainsburys Energy and it's a fixed monthly DD of £67 even though I know I'm using less than that in consumption, I'm not sure when they will credit back what I'm…

Npower rejecting Post Codes?
Has anyone else been unable to get a quote online from Npower? It just keeps requesting your post code. No HP post codes seems to be acceptable. Any others? As the late TT would have said: "What a shower." p.s. anyone know how to get in without a post code?

Worth changing supplier for £50
I am now at the end of my fixed 12 tariffs with Flow connect 10 October 2017. Doing comparison on several sites shows I could save approx £50-60 a year. with another provider comparing it to a new 12 month fix with Flow. Just wondering if anyone feels it is worthwhile changing. Sue

Eon smart meter issues!!
Hi all I moved into a new property last year and it was the first time I've had to use a smart meter with Eon. To be honest it's been nothing but a nightmare. Eon has left me with a £300 debt stating that my usage was more than agreed. I'm very dubious about this as there's two of us in a two bedroom flat and both work…

Multiple smart devices
I have different suppliers for gas/leccy with a smart meter on the electric. If I get the gas moved, would I have a separate smart meter display? I’m guessing the answer is yes, in which case I won’t bother :D

Toto not accepting customers with British Gas Smartmeters...
Toto are refusing to swap BG smartmeters for their own meters. They will only swap non-smart BG meters, so BG must swap their meters to non-smart before Toto will swap to their Smart Meters... BG have raised a complaint on my behalf, but I'll still have to swap to a non-Toto tariff otherwise I'll automatically go on a…

Please help me know which EDF tarriff is best!
For context, I live in a small three bed semi with husband and young daughter. We live in a new build estate with Economy 7 night storage heaters. We quickly discovered that the output of heat from them is rubbish, so have stopped using them. We are both out every weekday and home evenings and weekends. Instead, we use two…

New - to me - Terms & Conditions
From TOTO T & Cs 9.3 Paying by direct debit means: ... ... ... 9.3.8 Where you are the sole adult occupant of the property you are not of pensionable age. So, being a pensioner, the terms of the contract are broken if my wife dies? What does it mean? Is it legal? Is this a common requirement in modern-day T & Cs?

Switching to First Utility with Smart Meter
Hi, following general suggestions from Martin Lewis, I am considering to switch to First Utility that could save up to 175gbp/year. However, I have a couple of generic perplexities:* Is the smart meter exclusive for First Utility? Can I change after 1 year to another supplier or the smart meter keep me attached to First…

We moved house and had First Utility provide our Gas and Electric. It turns out that the serial number on our meter was wrong so our readings were disputed. In July they arranged to send out an engineer to to a check on the meter. This was done and the serial number changed but now they are saying they need opening reads…

British Gas Homecare - Can't clear outstanding balance
I cancelled my Homecare agreement at the end of June as I was moving to a new home with a brand new heating system so no longer required it. I was led to believe I was due a refund and even received a letter at the start of July indicating as such. I still hadn't received the refund so called them the other day to enquire…

Smart Meter
I was fortunate to switch to the new cheapest supplier but was surprised that the smart meter I have cannot be transferred If EDF want to get the reading electronically they will have to replace the meter. Its hard to believe that in this day and age there is no way the readings cannot be re-directed.
