How quickly can I switch?
I recently moved house and registered with British Gas in the hope that they would get my account sorted in time for me to sign up for the big energy switch - they didn't. My next cheapest on the Cheap Energy Club comparison are First Utility and Flow Energy. I'm impressed with Flow's customer Service rating and would…

Energy Switching UP
The BBC, et al, are reporting a 15% increase in domestic energy switching last year. Sadly, OFGEM uses the statistics light a drunken man uses a lamp-post - for support not illumination. I switched suppliers 4 times in 2015 so I assume that this equates to 8 switches in the overall total. A more interesting - and more…

Latest MSE Collective Switch
I have applied for the latest MSE collective switch to BGas, having previously changed to E.ON on the MSE Fixed 1 year collective switch in Dec 2014. Eon Warm Home Discount- Unavailable
I had already switched to Eon and it was going through the process when I checked on the warm home discount that my 92 year old mum qualifies for. In all the switch blurb it states that Eon is a member of this scheme. What is not very clear is that it is NOT NOW AVAILABLE FOR 2016/17 as they have filled their 'quota'. No…

Confronted with gas/elec meter for first time!
Hi everyone I've just moved into a tiny flat and realise that the gas and electricity are both on pre-paid meters. I've never lived anywhere with pre-pay before, and although I've read the leaflet that was left in the flat (so know how to physically top up etc), I'm still unclear on the following: - is pre-pay generally…

I wonder if anyone can answer my question. Currently I have a fixed deal with First Utility and I am looking to switch to another supplier. Good energy deals with paper billing and cash payment?
Any suggestions on energy suppliers offering competitive tariffs that allow you to keep quarterly paper billing and allow cash/cheque payment at the bank or post office? Sainsbury exit penalty when switching to BG Collective
Sainsbury's Energy have said that if I switch to the MSE British Gas Collective, then the £60 penalty must be paid, even though it was stated on the tariff information that it would not have to be! Anyone else been told this?

Would you switch?
Question: I am currently with Sainsbury's Energy (SE Fixed Price August 2016) for both Gas and Electricity. To leave the policy early will cast me £30 per fuel so £60. If I change to GB Energy I'll save £13 per month. So by the time the end of August comes around I'll be £18 better off. Would you switch?
