I recently moved house and registered with British Gas in the hope that they would get my account sorted in time for me to sign up for the big energy switch - they didn't.

My next cheapest on the Cheap Energy Club comparison are First Utility and Flow Energy.

I'm impressed with Flow's customer Service rating and would quite like to move to them.

Is there a minimum time I must spend with British Gas? I've had a quick look over their T&Cs and can't find anything. I'm currently on the Fixed Price July 2018 tariff for both gas and electric.

    You can leave anytime. There are no exit fees on that tariff.

    Thanks, that what I suspected but I wasn't entirely sure.
    I feel quite bad joining and leaving almost immediately but it is nearly a £300 per year saving.
