And Npower comes up with a good tariff
Online Fix March 2017 would save me a (net) £80. The £60 MSE Collective exit fee is a pain.

SMART Meters - I don't think so
When I decided to use the MSE collective switch to British Gas, the first question I asked BG was, "can you handle SMART meters?". Having been with OVO for a few years and having SMART meters it was a prerequisite that any supplier used SMART technology. BG told me they are geared up for SMART meters so I went ahead. Due…

£15 a week on gas?? - Empty house - PrePay
Hi All, Just wondering, does this sound right - We're running at around £15 per week on the gas meter in a smallish 3bed end-terraced house The heating is on 4 times per day, for 30 mins each time. Its an empty house, the heating is only on to keep a reasonable temperature to prevent damp etc. I just can't believe how much…

Dimplex Quantum/gas central heating temperature control
I'm really happy with my new Quantum heaters; as series G models they seem to have worked out most of the kinks customers experienced with the earlier releases and they run beautifully. I got a new Q-Rad for the 2nd bedroom as well (which also works great) but have barely needed to use it as the heat from the QM150 in my…

Faulty Meter - Unique problem?
Hello, I am with Ovo Energy on a 12m fixed rate deal. I have an Economy 7 meter, which has been tampered with to function normally as a Standard meter. That is to say, the night meter has been turned off and the day meter has been converted to run 24/7. Ovo says that the meter needs to be replaced because it is faulty, but…

MSE Collective Switch - Existing Supplier "retention" calls?
I used the February Switch to initiate a move from Scottish Power Dual Fuel to the BG Dual Fuel deal - and I've just had a call from SP "Retentions" dept offering to try to better the BG tariffs because they "have a new deal" coming in! Told the guy to put it in writing in an email so that I could compare the actual…

Hi there first time here so I'm sorry if I make any mistakes. :p I applied to join ovo on the 30/01/16 everything was going fine until I received an email saying the following "We’re in the middle of switching your gas supply over to OVO Energy, but your current supplier has raised an objection to the switch. Until this…

What tariff should I go on with elecric company?
Just got a new flat, changing the electric bill over to my name. It's with British Gas, as that was what the previous person was with. She said she could put me on the following tariffs - 1/ Fixed price tariff until July 2018 (she said this was the cheapest and she would put me on the discounted rate with no exit fee). She…

Switching Gas/Electricity
So a very silly question. I am thinking of changing Gas/Elec suppliers. 1. Is Dual fuel going to be the cheapest? 2. Do i need to let my existing providers know that i am leaving and provide a last meter reading? 3. Anything else? Help appreciated

Cheap Energy Club does not have my current OVO tariff
I have been investigating a better deal on our electricity bill. We are with Ovo Better Energy and the tariff end 13 November 2016. The Cheap Energy Club does not have this tariff so I am not sure what to enter. Anyone had the same problem? Many thanks.

First Utility Total Farce
I applied via the energy saving club to switch to First Utility on a 2 yr fixed deal for both gas & electricity from early Jan. I then seemed to get conflicting emails & letters from F.U telling me first that they could not help me for electricity as my meter isn't standard type, then welcoming me & saying new accounts…

Fix & Fall also about to end please help!
My query is a bit different in that I have decided to switch to Ovo and have started the process, but have just received an email from British Gas to say I will incur penalties of £30 for gas and £30 for electriciy if I switch before 31 March 2016. I have checked and double checked and read on the Ofgem website and spoken…

Npower HomeCare Appalling Treatment - They Need A Regulator???
Hi, I just wondered if I am the only one who believes that Homecare needs a regulator?? I have just had a disgraceful experience with Npower who sent 3rd party company (I believe they must spell "engineers" as "cowboys" on their application forms) to replace a pump in January who in turn burst a valve in my boiler didn't…

Fuming

This morning I received 9 such calls from the exact same company using different area dialing codes. The company is ACTION ENERGY and here are the numbers 01970579399 01359762935…

Energy supply still not changed
After registering for the cheap energy deal with British Gas special from Martin Lewis back in November, my current provider has still not received notification to switch the gas supply, although the electric has been completed. When i spoke to British Gas, they cannot offer this low tariff as it is not their product. I…

I-supply
Has anybody any views on I-supply please? Last year we switched our electric and gas from British Gas to Sainsbury's Energy and made a good saving, but it seems best to switch again rather than stay with Sainsburys Energy as they have quoted us an extra £280 a year fixed till July 2018. I-Supply on the other hand has…
