Latest MSE Collective Switch

I have applied for the latest MSE collective switch to BGas, having previously changed to E.ON on the MSE Fixed 1 year collective switch in Dec 2014. I now find I am on a later MSE 1 year collective switch with E.ON which started in September 2015, but have no recollection of asking for this tariff. E.ON say they couldn't have changed it without MSE asking so has anyone else experienced this?

Hiya chris99robinson and welcome to the forums,

We can't change you on to a new contractual tariff without speaking to you, even more so, we can't actually change customers on to collective tariff's at all.

This is something that has to be done via the third party site and then a notification is sent to E.ON and the tariff change process will start.

We have no options of moving current or new customers on to collective tariff's. You should have had an email or some confirmation at the time the change was initiated, could you maybe have a look back through emails etc to see if you can see anything?

If you do need me to help at all, please just ask.

    Helena :)

If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

    Did you mean Noddle?

If so, use Tariff Team instead - exactly the same results & collective switch offerings (via EHL) but plus the possibility of £30 cashback :money:

(If it turns out a the collective is not the best for you, then use another comparison site for the possibility of over 15% more cashback)
