Switch in Progress?
I switched in June 2015 and thought I would go into my cheap energy club and it is still showing as switch in Progress?
from what I can see i was supposed to get £30 cashback after 3 month but that never materialised

I would suggest you use another comparison site (or even a cashback site)
Other comparison sites offer over 15% more cashback than the CEC does.
As for the cashback you say the CEC have failed to pay you so far, I would urge you to tweet @MartinSLewis directly and ask him why, as a multi-millionaire who is supposed to be on the side of consumers, he's keeping hold of your £30 for so long?
I usually find exposing these people directly on social media brings about a rapid resolution0 -
Hi Roxanne,
Thanks, I have emailed you from my work email address and you should get it shortly.
Nathan94 - Thanks but im not bitter MSE has saved me loads of money over the years and I dont begrudge Martin Lewis making as much money as he wants as we all want to do the sameBlessed on 18th February 2014 at 0814 with little Sarah xxx0 -

@mackemp3
It will get paid to the bank account whose details you entered when you switched and takes up to 3 months to be paid.0 -
hi all. im new on here,just joined. i watched Martin Lewis about doing the switch,which i went ahead and did around 12/14 days ago. which said i would save over £330 a year, which is great, ive had a few emails from British gas welcoming me,but havnt had anyone ask for meter readings yet, anyway i phoned up British gas today as i couldnt log into my new online account. i was told they have taken my Electric but not my Gas.? they said EDF energy have with held it.. im not in debt with EDF as i had a statement from them 2 weeks ago saying i was in credit. So now im being told i have to contact EDF energy myself, what a bloody pain, i did this switch thinking it would be straight forward, but its no good having electric with British Gas and gas with EDF energy, the whole point was to switch duel fuel.. what should i do now, anyone else had this problem? should i just wait or should i ring EDF? please help...0

Hi lisa72,
If you give the collective team at British Gas a call on its MSE number 0800 975 9712 or try to contact it via msecollectiveswitch@contactus.britishgas.co.uk, the team there should be able to help you out with this.
