Eon Warm Home Discount- Unavailable

I had already switched to Eon and it was going through the process when I checked on the warm home discount that my 92 year old mum qualifies for. In all the switch blurb it states that Eon is a member of this scheme. What is not very clear is that it is NOT NOW AVAILABLE FOR 2016/17 as they have filled their 'quota'. No longer a viable proposition to switch and it should be made clearer by EON that not everyone will get it if they switch - even if they qualify..

I'm sorry we’ve reached our maximum number of applications for this year’s scheme and we’re not accepting any more applications.

You can however, You can now register your interest for the 2016/2017 warm home discount scheme. The details aren't yet finalised but we’ll write to you with the details.

You can register on the E.ON website, I'm sorry I can't post links on the forums.

There's also lot's of Q &A's on there to help.
