Scottish Power not billing us for electricity
Anyone experienced this? We've been with Scottish Power for coming up to two years now, and had a new electricity meter installed by eON a few months ago. On checking our bills today, I've noticed that on the last bill in June, we weren't billed for any electric, just gas. They are still taking a direct debit as if they…

Switch from Scottish Power to FU - how long does it take
Hi all I am thinking of switching to FU from Scottish Power. In your experience, how long does the switch normally take? Just wondering whether I would have time enough as I will be away from 9Dec to 29Dec so would not be able to provide meter readings during the period. Their prices are much cheaper than SP...I know that…

Cancelling monthly direct debit - any credit implications?
I'm on nPower's Online October 2014 fixed tariff, and they've bumped up my monthly payment from £21 a month to £252 (!) a month. Last February we used 1000kwh of gas, but they've estimated that we'll be using 4000kwh of gas in November and each month throughout the winter. Clowns. I've already put in a switch to another…

Living alone, is a £150 annual heating budget possible?
I know this is low... but could it be done? I'm thinking of not using any gas, only electrical heaters. 2 rooms a day in winter, 500w heating, 8 hours, = 8kw - around a £1. £30 a month for November - March. Heating not really needed for the other months as can wear jumpers etc, doesn't really bother me! Am I dreaming?

Anyone else have a negative gas tariff with Flow Energy??
I've been with Flow Energy for just over a year now, and only recently noticed that my online statements are showing me as being >£300 in credit. When I checked my latest statement I noticed that my unit rate was -£61.66 (yes, a negative number), so my gas usage was actually being credited to me rather than billed last…

Warrant of entry, Meter is outside of my living area
Npower is trying to gain a warrant of entry against me for the installment of a prepaid meter or disconnect. Now my metr is not in my living area but is in the shared hallway. Would the warrant still give them access to my living area? I am trying to contact the energy supplier to see what my options are but I can't find…
