Anyone else have a negative gas tariff with Flow Energy??
I've been with Flow Energy for just over a year now, and only recently noticed that my online statements are showing me as being >£300 in credit.
When I checked my latest statement I noticed that my unit rate was -£61.66 (yes, a negative number), so my gas usage was actually being credited to me rather than billed last month!
I suspect that the problem may relate in some way to anomalous meter readings - i.e. the meter readings shown on my statement bear no resemblance to the ones that I've been entering on their website. For example, my statement shows a gas meter reading of 977 on May 31st, but these were the readings that I actually entered on the website:
30/5/14: 11665
30/7/14: 11715.
My current statement (dated Sept 7th) shows a "previous read" of 1024 (E), and a "current read" of 966 (E). I entered a reading of 11730 on August 29th.
I did email Flow at the end of July to ask them to correct my statements, but never got a reply (TBH I wasn't expecting great customer service). Before chasing them up again I was wondering if anyone else had been in a similar situation with them?
