If I go fixed bills 20% more! Any point?
Hello, I've just done a rough comparison on simply switch and it suggests the cheapest fixed deal is £220 a year more/19% more than what I pay now (npower online v20). The fixed one is edf fixed v2. I'm not sure this makes sense to switch though as this is quite a leap, or am I missing something? Regards

ScottishPower Direct is the cheapest tariff for me but Simply Switch won't let me sign up for it. Another misleading comparison site recommended by MSE.

Hi . Went to EDF tonight with intention of moving my mum from Eon duel fuel fix on line 8 to EDF 2014 fix . Pre pay key meter error code question
Can anyone advise me on an error code please? £20 credit was put on my key on Monday 13th. Unfortunately never checked when key was put into meter. Now the meter is showing 'ERROR 14' There is just over £3 left so running out isn't imminent. And, can't find receipt! Any comments welcome. Thanks

I moved house this weekend, and in the rush I forgot to take a final meter reading. The keys have gone back to the letting agent, so I cannot get back into the house. This seems not painful enough
My mums with Manweb, uses 3000kwh E and 15000 G . According to Uswitch, BG Websaver 12 would cost £888.29 a year . EDF fixed price2014 energy would cost £1017 . The long fix seems at quite a painless premium. Am I missing something?
