if u switch before your year has ended on a set tariff you will almost certainly be penalised. it depends on what your exit fee is set at whether you feel you will still make a saving?0

I've just done this and there was no mention of early term fee....I had a fixed until same date as poster..takes about a week to transfer over anyhowThese are the Good 'ol Days just wait and see!0

EDF have told me that they won't charge for changing product just for changing supplier as I am looking at moving from online saver 7 to the fixed until 2014 product.0

EDF told me to ring back on the 30th June to change to Fixed S@ver v2 from Online 6. Otherwise you wont get the last few weeks benefit of being on the cheaper package.
On the other hand they could pull v2 on the 29th and there aint nothing you can do about it.Credit card and overdraft at 18. 2 loans and 3 storecards at 20. University education flushed down the toilet through debt at 22. Car finance at 23. Car repossessed at 24. Rock bottom at 25. Learnt my lesson 26-33. Now 34 with a mortgage on an affordable house, a car paid for with cash and a bank account in credit. I learnt the hard way.0 -
