Scottish Power have announced their price rises effective 01 August. Full details are available from their website.

Ive been looking there but I can't find anything in relation to SP Direct 2012 Tariff it doesn't say if the price of this tariff will be the same as it is just now.

It's on their website - they have only just released it on the day the new prices were announced :)

Read their press release. They have announced their price increase. The latest prices are reflected on their website :)
The direct tariff was released on the day they announced the price increase ... and is referred to in the press release. It was not available prior to the price increase, hence you will not find previous prices anywhere.

  • I think I get it now so because reading the press statement it was announced after the increase therefore it would take another increase to change the prices ! gotcha now :D

It's not easy to find, but this sets out how the various tariffs are affected.

    http://www.scottishpower.co.uk/your-home/existing-customer/our-price-change/direct-debit.aspx

Not shown is the SP Direct 2012, but by inference the new product rates are those contained within those product details.

    http://www.scottishpower.co.uk/products/scottishpower-direct.aspx

Nearly all these websites, have loads of advertising and summaries but it's almost impossible to navigate to simple straightforward tariff tables.

I can't find the equivalent on the SP site for the new product and it's easier to use the Comparison sites to find the detail.
  • I think im going to SP now from EDF, Backfoot I spoke to the girl at social media and she waived the cancellation penalty when I asked for a contact email for the legal team. many thanks again mate.

    Cheers.

Looks like you are following me around :D

I love that phrase 'Social media' that EDF use. What does it possibly mean? :rotfl:

There is the chance that SP will reject our application as being 'activists'. :D
