Scottish Power fixed -> EON Save Online Dual Fuel
I've just finished my Scottish Power fixed until 31 Aug 09 dual fuel tariff, and am now on the standard "energy online" tariff, after contacting them to NOT go onto their capped tariff. This tariff is not discounted, and after comparing rates I'm tempted to go onto "eon save online dual fuel" . For me this is about a £290…

Confused as to whether to go dual fuel or not. Help....
Hi I'm with Scottish Power (price protection 15) and don't want to move onto their capped rate, so I'm looking to move. According to uswitch, the best dual fuel package is with EDF, estimated cost £411 per year. Electricity is 12.9p per kwh then 8.09p above 900kwh per annum. Gas is 5.18p per kwh then 8.01p above 900 kwh…

Removing electricity key meter
I am currently in the process of buying a house, I noticed when I was viewing it that it has a key meter for the electricity which I will want to have removed. I was just wondering if anybody knew if this is easy and if it will cost me anything? Thanks

Would I be daft to stay with my current supplier?
I am currently with S.Power for gas & electricity, my cap has just ended on the 31st August. I have been very happy with S.Power, their customer service is spot on & I like how they always ask me for my readings. In fact, our bills have come down during the year. I am just wondering even though I am happy with them, would…

so who's moving where?
We've just come to the end of the Scottish Power end of aug 09 fixed tariff and are waiting to see where to switch - if anywhere. As posted elsewhere we're very high users (according to our bills but not in reality) and were wondering where people who've hung on till now to switch had switched to?

Broken meter
Hello when EON came to read my gas meter it was found to be broken and they were unable to take a reading. The meter has been replaced and I have been sent a bill of what they assume to be my usage which seems very high. This is my first bill from them and unfortunately I have not kept the bills from my previous supplier…

EDF, Eon or Atlantic??
Does anyone know if EDF or Eon are that much cheaper than Atlantic? I recently used the energy helpline comparison site and they've said that we can save £126/year if we switch to EDF or Eon (online tarrifs) but I've heard their service isn't that great. Our current provider is Atlantic and I'd hate to leave them as their…

Paying by monthly direct debit - some questions!
Apologies in advance as I'm sure the answer to my questions are really obvious! After doing some searches on comparison sites like uswitch, I think I'm going to change my supplier of gas and electric. Cheapest I've found is EDF's online Tariff version 5 - on this you have to pay by monthly direct debit. Until now I've…

Cheap tricks and complicated billing
I am an EON customer. I have switched many times over the last ten years and to be honest I am getting fed up with this constant checking / form filling in that is necessary these days to keep things running cost effectively. However I have to say that most of these energy companies have brought this on themselves. In the…
