I am currently with S.Power for gas & electricity, my cap has just ended on the 31st August. I have been very happy with S.Power, their customer service is spot on & I like how they always ask me for my readings. In fact, our bills have come down during the year.
I am just wondering even though I am happy with them, would I be mad thionk about leaving? I don't really want to but if it saves yet more money then im thinking I should.
Their new capped tariff seems about the same price as I was on & they said that the tariff "If our standard prices fall below the capped prices, your prices will fall too".
This is what their new prices are -
Electricity prices is 9.219pence per unit
Standing charge is 15.14pence per day
Gas prices is 3.454pence per unit
Standing charge is 11.50pence per day
Thanks for reading. :-)

The new capped tariff is actually 12% more for me than the fixed plan I was on with SP which just ended - equivalent to £168 per annum!!! I'm switching to EON - all being well their tariff will actually save me ~ £50 in the next year0

My Cap was due to end Aug 31st and did not get any emails telling me what I would be moving too. Have checked using online account and tells me that Im on Online Energy - Capped Rate?
Not sure what to do myself. Paying £89 a month for G&E for 2 bed end terrace house. Both work so house is empty in the day.0 -

Hi
My deal with Scottish Powere finished on the 31st August and so I'm considering what to do. I have until the 30th Sept to move or otherwise they'll charge me a cancellation fee.
Big advantage I've found from online is that I can easily see my actual usage over the last twelve months so easier to get quotes elsewhere.
I'm at the moment contemplating moving to Eon and Quidco offer £62 cashback.
I've been with Eon previously but not at the moment so I've emailed Quidco to ask if I would class as a new customer or not and be eligible for the £62.
Does anyone know ??0 -
Its a minefield this comparing lark. On moneysupermarket you have to state what what tariff you on on, im on new Capped Price Energy 2010 until August 10 yet that option aint there, anyone else had this problem?0
