Have I compared right?
I did a comparison for gas and electricity on Uswitch, I'm currently with EDF Energy and pay by direct debit a fixed amount every month, npower came out the cheapest, followed by Atlantic (I think). Does that seem right? Have npower not recently upped their prices? Wouldn't have expected them to be the cheapest. Any help…

Gas 20/12 - 06/03..........£320.76!
Seems a bit pricey, we seldon use the gas fire, heating/water not heavily used. 3 bed detached about 10 years old. 521 units used on the meter which is billed as hcf. This converts to 16452 kWh used Can anyone tell me if this seems correct or is it possible we are being billed incorrectly? Thanks,

My partner and I have our gas and electric from Powergen. All last year we paid £25 per month. powergen - Read your own meter fix
I wonder with the price increase you could read your own meter and add a bit more on so you pay the lower price for the gas and elec for a bit longer. :)

I'm on a pre-payment Gas meter. I put in about £10 each week. I write down how much the meter takes each month and it's £1.70 per day. I think this is wrong as i didn't get charged this amount when i was with BG  Also is there a cheaper company then Seeboard Energy? if there is i can threaten to leave if they don't do…

To Change or Not
Living in Devon I use SWEB for electric supply, they have just offered a fixed tariff to 2008. I am tempted to use them because living out in the sticks there have been hardly any power failures. They do come round every few years cutting down trees near overhead cables. I am worried that if we change to another supplier…

npower Sign Online discount rapidly decreasing after switching
For anyone considering switching to npower based on their new sign online rates, be aware that these rates will very soon after joining increase much more rapidly than their standard rates. For example I joined Sign Online 2 in November, after receiving telephone advice that there were no price rises on the way due to the…

Loyalty bonuses on comparison site calculations.
Do comparison sites take loyalty bonuses (presently £60 per annum with n-power) into account, i.e. do they subtract the bonus from the predicted annual amount for that supplier?
-
When do comparison sites update info. on prices?
I am presently with n-power for dual fuel. n-power have said they will raise prices from 1st April. If I use a price comparison site before then will it use the present or new price in its calculations?
