Are the London Energy price correct on https://www.energyhelpline.com
They show as...
Gas
2.284p for the first 1465 kWh per quarter, and 1.704p thereafter

Elec
9.398p for the first 225 kWh per quarter, and 6.311p thereafter

BUT London Energy prices as of 13th March are...
http://www.london-energy.com/showPage.do?name=homeenergy.switchBrand.prices.gas.til

Gas

3.576p for the first 1465 kWh per quarter and 250p thereafter

Elec YORKSHIRE
14.62p for the first 225 kWh per quarter, and 7.22p thereafter

energyhelpline.com gives me a saving of £60 a year but via London Energy onlya £5 saving?

also...
Can you set the London Energy DD charge yourself? I am low user and pay £30 a month with Powergen for elec and gas which covers my bills.

If I switch, will London Energy want a high starting DD price?

Sounds like the tariff on energyhelpline is the ONLINE London Energy tariff which is only available through the comparison sites - this has been mentioned several times already.

London Energy's own website only has the standard tariff prices which are quite a bit higher.

My DD was set according to the figures I input into energyhelpline. I used actual kwh usage based on the last year.

Does anyone know if you can submit your meter readings monthly on the London Energy site and do they update your account so that you know exactly how much you owe, or how much they owe you at the end of the month? I found the layout and the way you could submit your meter readings with Scottish Power on a weekly/monthly basis and know exactly where you stood a much better system.

Yes, you can submit your own readings online. You need to ask for a username, pin and password to access your account details via their site.
