Transfer of mobile contract?
I'm thinking about ending my orange everyday 50 contract, and I've seen a couple of people selling their sim cards on ebay. Does anyone know whether it is possible to transfer my sim card to someone with the contract then having no ties to me?

eBay and the Post Office
I've noticed that my PO are very nice to me when I turn up with a pile or parcels and are very helpful (as opposed to the times I just pop in for a form or pay the road tax) and it got me thinking they must be doing very well out of the whole eBay selling, is this true? Does anyone know of any facts and figures that relate…

Buyer paid - but not enough.
Hi, A foreign buyer (Japan) bid at the last moment and won an item of mine on the 6th March even though I stated that I would only post to the UK. They paid instantly using Paypal but did not include enough to cover postage. I contacted the bidder and told them that if they paid the extra postage I would be willing to post…

Sick of being accused of Postage Rip Off
I seem to be getting a lot of mioans about my postage charges and wonder what other people think. My auctions start at 99p which is about the cost of the item to me. About 20% - 25% of my auctions will close at this price or within 5p of it. I then charge £1.45 for P+P (and send items with proof of postage) and post item…

Ebay threatening legal action
My OH genuinely forgot to pay his last ebay invoice. He hasn't used ebay since and has had no communication from them whatsoever. We were quite shocked when a threatening letter landed on the doormat this morning saying that a CCJ is being prepared against him, and will be served if he doesn't pay up immediately. Can they…

PayPal gave me money?!
Seem to have some sort of paypal bonus in my account for $1.95 - and I didn't even do anything! Is this some sort of scam? LOL - only joking but how, why did I get this? PayPal is still a rip-off but hey ho.

Have eBay finally added a feature to stop bidders with 0 feedback? EDIT: No lol
did put this in another thread but thought it deserved it's own one if it's true I don't want to get anyones hopes up (and I've had no problems with newbies in the past) but I know some people don't like bidders with no feedback bidding on their items it seems that ebay may have done something about this, but it's not very…

Nigerian scammer has ruined my auction - what do I do?
Put a phone on eBay and was happily plodding along, lots of interest and looks like I was going to make a tidy sum when it closes this evening, but lo and behold someone has clicked the buy it now button and wants me to send it to Nigeria and accept Western Union. What do I do? How to I tell eBay and do I get my listing…

Selling (or rather advertising) Houses on eBay?
I need to get more publicity for an apartment I am selling and wondered about eBay. Is there a way of listing all the details and having pictures without a huge selling fee (i.e. if I listed it at £120,000 or whatever it would be £35 or so) - if I sold an "Invitation to view" or whatever at a Penny, would that work? If a…

another question for sellers
After reading the recent thread on cheaper parcel rates, I was wondering if you mention this when selling. I have remembered when I bought fabric that I was rather surprised to find that the seller didn't use RM and my address was not one that the courier used! I would not have bid if I had known. The outcome was that I…

Stop staring at me
Going to my local post office is getting harder by the day. I used to go in and go straight to the counter, but now I usually find my self in queues - sometimes for 15 mins or so. The thing is, when I get to the counter, a nice big queue has built up behind me. I usually have about 10 or packages to send off. Now…

Slightly offensive buyer!
Here I am again with another 'buyer' problem and I'm beginning to think I'm either unlucky or paranoid!!! This guy, with an excellent feedback, bought an item from me about 4 weeks ago ( 'Payment within 7 days' I stipulate) and still hasn't paid. I sent a friendly reminder ( and it was friendly) after 7 days and he replied…

The Taxman is onto you....
Anyone who uses Ebay to sell a lot of stuff - get selling, as the taxman is going to clampdown on people who use Ebay as a business according to the news on the radio just now......BOO

Been sent wrong item
What do I do? I bid on a t shirt for my son, who paid me for it out of his pocket money-cost £18.99 incl postage. Took ages to arrive... emailed seller 4 times before the t shirt came on Friday. The top is nothing like the one pictured that we bid on... we bid on a blue top... we were sent a green one! I have emailed the…

Non recieved item
I have a buyer who is stating she hasn't recieved the item I sent her. It was only a paperback book which went for 50p, P&P was £1.30 Suggestions as to what to do next? I obviously don't want to get a neg feedback from her. Should I repay her the cost (50p) and not the P&P? P&P insurance was not offered.
