PayPal gave me money?!

in Ebay, auctions, car boot sales, post & parcels
Seem to have some sort of paypal bonus in my account for $1.95 - and I didn't even do anything! Is this some sort of scam? LOL - only joking but how, why did I get this? PayPal is still a rip-off but hey ho.

    lol it's from when you verified your card - they would have charged you $1.95 - then the next time you pay through your paypal account you get it back that's all

    from paypal:

    "When you add a credit card, you will have the option to enrol in the Expanded Use Programme. When you enrol, PayPal will charge your card $1.95 USD and issue you a randomly generated, four-digit Expanded Use Number"

    it's good to see you noticed the amount on your credit card bill ;)

    unless you include a negative i don't think your allowed to put 'paypal' and 'generous' in the same sentence
