My credit rating
Hi Folks, Hope all is well. I filed for bankruptcy in 2010 due to getting well and truly caught in the property decline during the recession. I basically had a property which dropped by over £100K in value so there was no way out other than to fold all my cards as such. Since then I have been happily moving along with my…

Scottish Power won't respond
I have been trying for 4 weeks to get Scottish Power to respond to an inaccurate default of £67 in 2011. Tried customer services, hours of delays and then no account information on record. Emailed every level of organization only replies are "we will respond in 5 days". Only one response in that time - we do not supply…

Yorkshire Water
Mentioned this briefly in another thread - does anyone know on what legal basis Yorkshire Water report customer accounts to Experian? With my own water company I have never given them permission to do so and I have no contract, nor T&Cs with them. They, like all other water companies, are obliged to supply me, and I have…

A credit check without my knowledge or permission?
I am fairly savvy about how the credit check/referencing works but I have this week been surprised, and a little angry, that whilst I have been looking around for a new car a search has appeared on at least one credit agency report, CallCredit, from a finance company. I have been visiting & asking dealers for options and…

Hi Guys, Sorry to disturb you all during this world cup series! I got a CCJ on 16/03/2012. This debt was with O2. The debt was passed on to Moorcroft. I made a payment arrangement with Moorcroft - which I have stuck to religiously since the CCJ. I have never missed a payment and the debt is coming to an end. On my file…

Experian login.
I've just re signed back up to experian on Wednesday but so far once I login I get a failure page. I spoken to experian 3 times and they are polite and say they are on to it but 3 days with it not solved seems rubbish to me in this day and age of internet? Just wondered if anyone else was having the same issue?

What to do once defaults disappear
So, looking into my horrendous credit score, I see my defaults will all drop off by Nov 2016. I've got 2 outstanding debts which I'm paying off and will clear by then. I'd like to use these 2 and a bit years of rubbish credit to save for a mortgage for a shared ownership property, but once the defaults have gone what is…

My Credit Tracker
Hi, I recently applied to My Credit Tracker for an update with regard to my 'Credit Worthiness/Status'. The report showed that I was in the bottom 20% of the population for accepting credit. Over a year ago I used Experian for the same purpose and they placed me in the top 5%. Looking at the latest report I could see…

Defaults Disappeared
Hi all, I have been managing four defaulted debts for many years. The 6 years anniversary of all debts has gone and all have disappeared from my credit file. I continue to pay the amounts I have agreed with the original creditors but now these debts are being sold on and sold on. My question is this, what is my legal…
