Amex DD not taken
My Amex direct debit normally is credited to my account on the 27th and the direct debit leaves my current account on the 28th. Normally, weekends and bank holidays delay this by a day or two, but this month my Amex account has been credited, but my current account hasn't been debited yet (31st). Has this happened to…

Business Credit Cards - any great cashback/reward cards?
Given that most consumer credit cards have mediocre rewards/cashback due to the regulation on fees that banks can earn.... are there any business cards that give much better rewards, since they're not subject to the same regulation? Thinking as I do own a small company, and I know you can always use a business credit card…

Virgin Credit Cards- you have to WRITE to start a claim
VIRGIN CREDIT CARDS be warned, I had a retailer that failed to deliver a service. The ONLY option to start a 'claim' was to send a land letter (complete with dozens of photocopies of ALL the relevant paperwork!). This is so archaic in the 21st century, and took a lot of time (&cost, photocopies, postage etc).

POS Terminals: Gratuity added after PIN entry
Has anyone ever experienced a gratuity added to a bill after entering their PIN in the UK? I read a while back about a woman in Germany where it was added after the transaction was confirmed and searching the web seems to reveal 10-20% can be added afterwards in the US. Usually here I see the gratuity prompt come up before…

Bank or other credit card provider?
Afternoon all. I am helping my partner apply for their first credit card with the sole purpose of building up their credit history.
