One solution may be to use a Curve card linked to the Barclaycard.  Curve is a MasterCard debit card but then goes on to the Barclaycard Visa.

Although it does break S75 which I'd argue isn't worth it (even with Amazon) for a paltry 0.25% cashback.

Entirely correct, though S75 may not be important for small transactions.
