Money transfer and then balance transfer?
I've tried to find the answer to this but no luck. If you get a money transfer from a credit card to your current account, can you then do a balance transfer from that credit card to another one if you don't pay off all of the money transfer within the 0% window?

Business Vs Personal Credit Card
Hey guys, This is my first post, so apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere already. I'm about to buy a retail business. I'm going to take over the existing business account of the company, but will need a credit card for business spending. I've read the articles, but am a little lost as to which card to choose. The…

What do to with Aqua card
Hi, I've moved to the UK in September last year and planned on working my credit history as soon as possible. As such, I applied and was given an Aqua start card with a 100 pounds limit and a horrendous 70% APR. Since December, when I got the card, I made all the payments in full and on time, never went over the 100 pounds…

Card declined but still charged
Hi, I am currently travelling South East Asia with my girlfriend. We left Thailand and flew into Malaysia and upon arrival we tried to withdraw cash from multiple ATMs which declined based on 'an 'unauthorised account' before realising the problem was with our card not the cash machine. We then used online banking to…

Credit Card or Loan?
Hi there, I'd appreciate some advice from some informed money savers! Naturally I've been through the stuff on the site, but I'm having a hard time deciding exactly what to do. I need to borrow for two things - firstly for an engagement ring and secondly to expand my business. I should note that while it's for business…

Applied for 2 Cards. Now only need one!
Cut a long story short... I have a CC with £5500 and wanted to balance transfer the amount to a £0 intrest card. Applied for 2 cards as thought I might not get high enough limit on one, so would split the £5500 between 2 cards. Virgin accepted and gave me a £6550 limit on 0%. Sainsburys have now contacted me saying "Thank…

Haggling with Barclaycard for better balance transfer?
Hi, I have £4600 on an MBNA card with a rate for life of 5.9% - I have a barclaycard with zero balance and a credit limit of £5000. HSBC credit card - credit limit

Random question about HSBC card
Hi All, First time poster, so apologies if this has been asked before - couldn't see anything vaguely similar. Apologies for the long background to this!! Can I apply for the same card as my husband?
Apologies. I have another question! If my husband holds a credit card account in his name (but has allowed me to have a card connected to this account), can I then go and apply for the same card but in my own name? I understand that one person can not have 2 credit cards from the same company in their name but I'm just a…
