Balance Transfer via cash in bank a/c

If I am in credit on an Egg card will I get charged to transfer my money into a bank account? I called Egg about this and they told me that I won't get charged - but on MSE.com it says Egg charge 2.5% to shift positive credit onto a bank account. I'm confused! Can anyone advise?
