Help - A little bit of Guidance
I am trying to consolidate all of my debts. I have a CC with £800 debt (0% until 01/02/06) and 2 current accounts that are both overdrawn by 6 – 700 each. I want to put them all on to a 0% card and pay them off as much as I can each month. I went to Lloyds TSB to go on their 0% card but was told that I can not Balance…

Joint applications - better or worse?
Hi all, my first post, looking forward to being part of a community that has saved me £600 and 2 months on my mortgage this year  Is it better or worse to have joint applicants on a credit card application? I'm trying to weigh up the advantages of having our own accounts to maximise interest free borrowing. Fear not!…

Barclaycard
My husband has one of their cards with a ridiculously low limit, even though he is a high earner. They put up his credit limit by a meagre £100 in the last couple of years. I mentioned to him that some cardholders had managed to get 4000 nectar points for threatening to cancel & suggested he try the same. Twice he called…

Credit card/bank fraud
I recently dealt with someone who had £6000 taken from his account whilst the thief used his photo driving license as ID, the bank clearly didn't check the photo when the guy asked to withdraw the £6000, crazy, luckily the guy was insured.
