Barclaycard- how long?

Does anyone know how soon after closing the account can I apply again? The reason I ask is that I stupidly closed this account instead of the one I meant to cancel. I only closed it on 31st October, do you think they can reactivate the account or not?

I closed my mine and about three months later asked them to reopen it.
The guy on the phone was very switched on and did it immediately and kept the same credit limit.

How did you get on when you rang them - did they re-open the account for you?

How did you cancel in the first place, - over the phone or in writing?

I cancelled over the phone but they re opened it no problem. To be honest I only reopened it for the 6.9% for life of balance transfer as I was currently paying 15.9%. They even increased my credit limit too although not for as much as I needed to transfer the whole balance owing on my other card.
