No BT fee for MBNA mastercard

Options
Mr Smartsaver's MBNA mastercard deal has just run out and been paid off (out of stooze pot not BT 'd to anothe card).

He called today to see if there were any more 0% deals going and was able to BT to EGG for 6 months with no BT fee...

With all the bad press MBNA get thought it was worth posting something positive :)

  • I've just had a call from MBNA offering me a cash transfer. My 0% is about to end, and I'd already transferred off to another new 0% deal. I said I wasn't interested. Then she said she could extend the 0% deal to May 06.

Hmm, that makes it more interesting. My minimum repayments on MBNA where £5pm, on my new card they are £80+.

She asked if it was convenient to do a transfer now. I said I didn't have my papers to hand, she offered to call back, I suggested tomorrow night. So I will mull it over. If there is no BT Fee, and the minimum payments are still £5, I may transfer back.

    Any thoughts from anyone?

    thanks
