Credit Limit - Affect Credit Rating?
Hi There I was just wondering whether requesting a new credit limit affects your overall credit rating? For example, I recently went online to my Egg banking and upped the limit on my Egg card (using the maintenance section), but I wanted to know whether requesting new limits online in this way will affect my credit rating…

Valuable Life Cover
I'm just applying for a Virgin credit card, and have come to the section of the application which asks about "valuable life cover". Now I'm hesitating just a little. The payment of 72p per £100 isn't that much, I realise, but is it really necessary - i.e. is it just a way for them to get a bit of money back? All help…

Lightening my CC burden, a little advice please
All, apologies if this has been covered lots of times. But as succinctly as I can put... I owe over £6500 on my MBNA cc. I've recently got it under its £7000 limit after a period of financial difficulty which included a spell out of work (about 2 years ago for about 6 months). I'm now in my 3rd month of a new permanent…

Question about awkward BTs
OK so I'm coming to an end of a 9 month MBNA 0%BT offer. (One for which they also gave me a free DVD player - sweet!) Now I'm wanting to apply for another card and switch - MBNA don't allow BT's from other MBNA cards, and I understand that the Virgin card is managed by MBNA... My point... My question is, would it be worth…
