in Credit cards
please excuse for any mistakes this is my first post
have just tried to apply online for a virgin credit card to take advantage of 9 months 0% for balance transfer i would say i had a pretty good credit score but at the end when i pressed submit it came up " the application you requested is currently unavailable " and to phone them
does this mean i have been refused or just that the website is not working properly at the moment . Not really wanting to phone incase it is a refusal would be completely mortified.
Many thanks in advance for anyone who can help

Sounds very much like fault with internet site.
RBS/NatWest displayed similar error for a couple of days when I first tried to register0 -
With Virgin they do not accept or decline on line but is processed by an under writer and normally advise you in 10 days.0

Give them a call as teksat2k reckons it is likely to be a fault on their site. Welcome to MSE too!2p off is still 2p off!0

I applied for a Virgin card yesterday morning and it did say my application had been accepted and forms would be sent out for me to sign and return (there was some small print regarding subject to further checks etc..) - But in principle you do get an answer online.
Maybe they had a fault on the site at the time you applied.
