Virgin Positive Balance Advice

Here's my problem....
Have 16K stoozed from Virgin and my 0% period will be up in a couple of weeks.
Due to Capital One messing me around (Applied for card over 6 weeks ago!!) and after repeated calls to Customer Services, Cap One have informed me that they will be giving me a 18mnth card and 'at least' the 16K I need to SBT to Virgin. Unfortunately, having not yet having received the agreement form there is no way I will be able to make the SBT deadline to pay off my Virgin balance in time.
My insurance policy was a Marbles card I also applied for six weeks ago, they have given me 15K which is now safely in my current account.
My question is..... If I use the Marbles 15K and some savings to pay off the Virgin 16K, what will happen when Capital One pay the 16K SBT into my Virgin account after the 0% period has ended ?
Will I be able to transfer a 16K positive balance from Virgin into my current account without penalty ?
I thought that a possible alternative might be to ask Capital One to SBT to EGG rather than Virgin.
Anyone know if this is now possible after I have already requested the Virgin SBT ?
Any ideas appreciated.
