DHL claim late for vat
I bought my son some T Ricky Assassin jeans from US site for Xmas. DHL delivered them in time. Now I've got an invoice from them for Vat £44.23 and Admin £5.00. I thought any tax had to be paid immediately? Is this legit? I've had so many attempted scams, phishing etc that I'm very cautious now.

What is the time limit on reporting a problem?
Last year (25/4/12) I bought a photo album through Amazon but only got around to using it last weekend. And I discovered that out of 50 sheets, 24 were faulty - the picture pocket was only sealed top and bottom so the photos just fall out. I realise that this is a long time but... Their response was "We are sorry to hear…

Returning faulty goods bought online
I have read the 'Consumer Rights' section but am still unsure as to my position. I purchased a stereo through Amazon as a Christmas present, which has since proven to be very temperamental randomly stopping of its own accord when used. I have contacted the seller who inform me that they will collect and examine it but if…

Amazon and San Direct breaching sales of Goods Act
Hi All, Back in May 2012 I purchased a Bissell cleaner via Amazon from a company called San Direct. The item is no longer working and I assume inherently faulty. I contacted San Direct and advised them of this and they responded that there warranty is only valid for 90 days. I've sent the normal letter quoting the Sale Of…

This was backed up…

Am I being unreasonable?
Hi all, just want a quick straw poll as to whether I'm being reasonable in my expectations. I bought some shoes for £70 at the end of October. Since then I've worked out that I've worn them 37 times (yes I'm that sad!) in my carpeted office at work. The heels have started to go and the sole has started to come away from…
