Hi, Just been trapped on this website" nfoutlet ".Savings didn't look that massive so it wasn't a case of to good to be true. I paid £96 for a jacket....then I read this thread on here regarding concerns. I contacted my bank as the payment hasn't gone out yet but they told me they couldn't stop the payment, but I would have 15 days to return the goods and receive a refund before they can step in. I have e mailed the company saying I would like to cancel but have heard nothing back yet, (just received a e mail that the jacket has been posted !!). Has anyone had any joy receiving refunds and what are my options now. I need help please !!

Always, ALWAYS check the validity of a website before you order.

You have no real enforceable right to return as it's not a UK site, however your bank may step in if it's counterfeit.

True. Once payment has been made it cannot be stopped.

I don't get this bit....
A retailer has 15 days to deliver the goods from date of debit. Then card provider can step in for non reciept.
If the goods arrive and they are not what was ordered. (do not cover its just a fake)
If they do arrive you have to try and get a returns address and return them. Or if you can't get this something to state they are not real.

Oh dear..... By cancelling. You remove non reciept of goods. To get a refund you will now need to get a refund reciept.
ie, Date of refund, amount, last 4 of card.....

Odds of that ????

My experiance these co's do not refund. They will offer to knock £X off the price....
Not sure if they ever give this back either.

And the "trapped " comment was just a play of words, i know I didn't have to buy anything and could have left but unfortunately I didn't !

Refund reciept is the same as you would get in the shop.

In this case you would need a email from them stating that they have refunded your card end xxxx on 1st of never the sum of £0.00.
If you can get that then if they do not refund it, 15 days after the date stated. You can chargeback for non reciept of refund.

If the goods arrive and are counterfeit. Then you need to try to return them.
Thankfully these co's do not like to give their address (nice that they are stupid).
If you can then get a retailer to state not gen item or proof of north face website that this site is not gen.
Then as they have not provided a return address there is a type of chargeback (pre-compliance) due to their failure to provide a returns address.

I would also keep quiet on cancelling the item and if it has not turned up 15 days after debiting contact your bank and ask for the disputes department and get a non reciept chargeback actioned.
Should do that over the phone as no paperwork is required for this one. ( That is how we work them)

I received the jacket yesterday, the sizing was way out, I ordered a xxl and inside the jacket said Medium with a xxl tag in it. It was a medium as it fitted my 15 year old son. There was no return form or a contact address. I think I will just bite the bullet and keep it ( looks quite good quality...lol ) and learn my lesson from this.
