four months ago we bought a washing machine from Sainsburys online
and it has now got cracks on the top plastic cover on the front, we phoned sainsburys and were told that we should contact the makers that we have a guarrantee with, we tried that and got told that that part was not guarranteed
and to call someone out would cost over £100 after ringing sainsburys again to tell them to contact them and pass us over to the same people because it was such a pain trying to get connected my wife was conned into agreeing to start a direct debt which costs £60 at £6 a month on top of the guarranty we have .
my question is what can i do now? also sainsburys said they cant do anything as they got it from Comet i thought it was down to the seller to do whats happening. advive please.

regardless to where sainsburys got the item from your contract is with sainsburys.
what is the DD for
i would also be wondering why a large supermarket getting their whitegoods from another highstreet retailer and not direct from manufacturer0 -
the direct debit was for a policy that would be for us to have a engineer come to sort the top out although we have their guarrantee already.
sorry thanks for the reply' and i understood it should be sainsburys that should sort it out0
