Direct Debit - Payment taken February but company goes into Administration in June and no refund!
Hi All, Not sure the best place for this thread so thought bank accounts made most sense! I had a Direct Debit setup with my dentist - who are part of a small chain. You pay £99 each year and this covers 2 check ups and 2 cleans over the 12 months. The money was taken in February 2020 for this year - and we had…

Nat West £175 switch offer April 2019
I took up the Nat West switch offer in April 2019 which promised £125 in August 2019, which I received, and then £50 a year later if the card was used every month until June 2020. I haven't received the £50, but did use the card at least once a month. Has anyone else received the money?

Halifax & G Pay
Hi, I'm struggling to understand why the Halifax bank allow limitless mobile payments with Apple Pay but not G Pay. I had a IPhone for years and used Apple Pay all the time and was confident that it would always work well over the then £30 contactless limit, sometimes making payments well over £200 with my iPhone. I then…

Bank Fraud
Hi, I really don’t know where to turn for advice. Yesterday I had around £3000 of fraudulent transactions on my account. I called the bank to report the fraud and was advised that the fraud investigation takes around 10 days, and I won’t be refunded until that is completed. I now have no money to my name, and payments due…

Tsb Bank wants proof of address and photo id
My husband and I both received letters today from tsb asking for us to provide photo I'd and proof of address within 28 days. It doesn't really explain why or how to do this and family members also with tsb haven't had the same. It seems odd as my account was opened 23 years ago and my husbands 35 years ago so they're not…

Barclys Blue rewards - Double still continuing?
I can’t remember the exact offer, but there was something last July that doubled the Rewards for 12 months. It looks like the first extra £7 was paid in August 2019 as July only has one reward on my transaction history. I expected the last double reward would therefore be paid in July 2020. However, I have another £7…
