Barclys Blue rewards - Double still continuing?

I can’t remember the exact offer, but there was something last July that doubled the Rewards for 12 months. It looks like the first extra £7 was paid in August 2019 as July only has one reward on my transaction history. I expected the last double reward would therefore be paid in July 2020. 

However, I have another £7 cashback payment received today which I wasn’t expecting, so that’s two for August as I think it’s the “standard” reward that’s made at the beginning of the month. Anybody else on the same offer? Are my timelines out or is this a bonus?

Same for me, I was not expecting a double payment this month as my doubles started Aug 2019 so I’ve had 13 months of them now.

Me too. Doubles started in August 2019 so 12 months of doubles finished with payments received in July 2020. But I've received double payment in August 2020, being the 13th month.

Yes, same for me. I didn't even check yesterday as I considered it finished last month.

My previous Double Blue Rewards ran out in October, so I only got a single £7 in November, but Barclays were running the offer again so I switched another account to them.  This second lot of Double Blue Rewards started in December, so I should get the extra £7 until November.  I'm hoping they will run the campaign again so I can get a third lot of Double BR.

If it is indeed an error I'd expect them to claw it back, similar to what Co-Op did last month, but you never know!

Excellent, didn't know you could get a second bite of the cherry. Mine run out in November so I'll see if the offer is still running then.

Interesting. So you just switch another account into the same account you switched into before? Any DD requirement for the account being switched from?

You can take advantage of the offer as many times as you like, providing the terms and conditions don't rule it out.  If and when they run the same offer again, you'll just need to check whether there's any rule against getting double Blue Rewards if you've already had them.
