My previous Double Blue Rewards ran out in October, so I only got a single £7 in November, but Barclays were running the offer again so I switched another account to them.  This second lot of Double Blue Rewards started in December, so I should get the extra £7 until November.  I'm hoping they will run the campaign again so I can get a third lot of Double BR.
Interesting. So you just switch another account into the same account you switched into before? Any DD requirement for the account being switched from?
Yes, it was into the same account. The rules said you could switch into an existing account, so I did. There was no requirement to have any DDs on the account you were switching from, and I already had them on my existing account, so I didn't have to set up any new ones.
Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean the terms and conditions will be the same next time Barclays run the Double Blue Rewards offer, so you'll need to check them carefully.

The last offer allowed you to take advantage of the incentive even if you had taken advantage of one previously. The caveat was that if you were currently receiving a double rewards incentive from a previous offer then the new offer would override your existing offer (ie. if you were 6 months into a 12 month offer then you would extend your offer by 12 months from when you took advantage of it, for a total of 18 months double incentive instead of 24). Of course there's no guarantee that any future offer will have the same terms, but they seem to have been reasonably consistent between offers in the past.

i am assuming there's no "heads up" that the double up offer will be run again from this month?

My money is on there not being an offer anytime soon, based on the current climate of bank incentives. We typically don't get any sort of notice, short of being the sort of forum where users seem to notice new offers on banks websites pretty quick and can get in before the deluge of applications that follow the weekly MSE email... not that it matters much to me personally as Barclays seem to be the only bank that adamantly refuses to offer me an account of any sort so I've given up trying!

I thought I had just miscalculated- saw the double pay out. Nice one.

Out of interest I just looked Barclays home insurance quote but that was OTT- because if you have any other of their products you may qualify for the Blue Rewards. It most certainly was too expensive for that.

The last two switches I made were both into existing a/cs: Halifax & Barclays so that was a bonus. I also had the extra £1 blue reward on CC but that has certainly finished.
If it reverts to the norm that will be a £3 monthly bonus, which I suppose in the current situation is better than the proverbial 'wet fish'

IMHO I can't see any banks offering any deals at the moment. Halifax would have been fine- but I didn't qualify with the t&c dates...........

Yep, I got double bonus for Sep and Aug - though I reckon it should have finished in July
Banks are really giving these days- maybe they think it will atone for all their sins?

Wonderful. 2 unexpected £7 payments now. I wonder how long it will last.

I’ve been paid some cashback I received (for buying something through the Blue rewards part of their app) three times now.

it’s only 30p each time but clearly a glitch somewhere! Unfortunately I’m still in the 12 month period of my doubled £7.
