Full Banking Package
I know it’s probably not the cheapest way of doing things and it is not exactly shopping around is it, but I like the idea of all my accounts for example my credit card and current account showing up within the same banking app rather than having loads of different apps. Barclays and the Halifax both opened me up a full…

Joint account- who gets the mail?
I paid a cheque in my name into our joint account. The cheque was returned by mail, but addressed to my husband. On enquiry at the bank, I was told that he was the first name on the joint account and so all mail went out in his name. I think that is really poor. What if I hadn't opened the letter because he was away or…

Replacement for Santander 123
After cutting back my spending on direct debits the £5 account fee is now 3p more than my cashback, though with a balance of approx. £17,000 I am getting just over £20 a month interest. Is there one single bank account with no fee that I could switch to so that I am still getting over £20 a month interest? I will soon be…

I have the required direct debits but just want to confirm that the £500 pay in does not have to be a payroll pay in. I have a number of standing orders that cover the £500…

Halifax sent false alert text.
In February I got a text from Halifax bank saying they are now sending balance and overdraft charging alerts for my Halifax accounts. Today I got a text saying I was very close to my overdraft limit which happens to be £1100. I knew this shouldn't be so logged in only to find I'm £19 in credit as I would have expected.…

Nationwide doesn’t accept cash deposit 3rd party?
Hey, I just went into my local Nationwide branch in Richmond to pay in some cash into my Landladys account which I have done in the past. I was told that since Monday they no longer accept cash payments into accounts by third parties. On their website they state you can put in money with just sort code and account number…

Halifax Regular Saver - matured and new RS
I recently had a regular saver mature and was under the impression (due to the account changing it's rate to the current 2.50%) that the RS will continue. However, a couple of failed standing order payments bounced back into my current account (will I incur fees?), prompting me to see what the 'renewing' options were. It…

HSBC account switch
Hi all I have searched the forum and can't see an answer to this. I am thinking of switching to HSBC with the £200 incentive that ends on the 25th March. ATM Withdrawal Dispute
1) On Saturday 16th February, 2018 I used my Nationwide Debit card to withdraw £300 from a Santander ATM. The attempted withdrawal failed, and the screen displayed a transaction error message, and no printout was received. I then went to a nearby Lloyds ATM and used the same Nationwide debit card – and attempted to…
