Use each 4 weeks to cover the whole month
(its only 2-3 days more except Feb when it is none)

Then use the 13th pay to cover something annual, like extra costs at a peak(Xmas) time or a holiday or annual bills.

if you do a proper budget/plan for a year it just works,
You may have to work out some cashflow and delay some discretionary spend till you build up a buffer if you don't have one.

I have always been paid four weekly. Its really not difficult. Total up your monthly bills and every time you get paid make sure you leave that amount spare in your account. Some months you will have left over but leave it there and build a cushion.

Maybe set up a separate bills account and every pay day move across your monthly bills total so the money is always sitting there when the bills go out.

Four weekly is actually better to work with than monthly as you don't have the issues some people have at Christmas time where their pay has to last them an extra week or more due to being paid early.

Separate bills account. Or separate spending account.

Four weekly standing order or manual payment into it.

    Sorted.
