What is difference between A&L Premier Direct Current and Premier Current Account?
Which is the better A&L account - the Premier Direct Current Account or the Permier Current Account? It appears that the latter allows you a 10% ISA and the former allows you an interest rate of 8.5% on their savings account, so the better one is the Premier Current Account as 10% tax free is better than 8.5% non-tax free…

Tax on commission
My wife has just been offered a job which pays commission bonuses for targets achieved etc. Just wondered if there is a general rule of thumb for working out what you will actually earn after tax. Is it just a case of subtracting around 33% - ie take home pay on £100 commission would be £67?
