Nationwide! Best by far, free statement copies, free cash machines abroad, fee free overdraft with a teeny interest rate, etc etc etc

I'll not know how to answer this question.
    I have 3 bank accounts with Barclay's,Halifax and Lloyd's.
I don't know how to separate them,my wages go there, are safe etc...
If I will have £100000000... probably will check to see the best interest etc...

It's not a "bank". Probably explains the above ... :rotfl:
Imprudent granting of credit is bound to prove just as ruinous to a bank as to any other merchant.

Alliance and Leicester are on my list as no1, they were the only bank to issue me with a current account and overdraft, the rest can go and *****.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

the fact that nationwide is not a bank has nothing to do with being the best.
i bank with few banks and 1 building society and once when i had to complain to the building society, they had no idea how to follow complaints procedure.

so, please remember that if something is not a bank then it must be the best

The RBS have been brilliant with me - they allowed me a current account and overdraft after sorting my other debts.

  • I vote HSBC

Why? When I was on my !!!! they were there to help me, when I have been in better stance they have jumped up to make my money work harder for me, and when things have been in between-they've been supportive and always happy to help-going the extra mile to make sure I am confortable and happy.

    So that's my vote!!
Loan-£3600 only 24 months of payments to go!!!
All debt consolodated and cards destroyed!!
As D'Ream would sing 'Things.....can only get better'!!!

I voted HSBC - my longest banking relationship... Have been tempted away by Abbey, NatWest and Lloyds TSB and have been sorely disappointed. Abbey don't rate highly for customer service; my NatWest transactions used to mysteriously move around so all debits occured before credits were applied to the account; and I encountered the most disgusting customer service with Lloyds TSB.

If anyone is looking at this poll trying to choose a bank - make sure to check out HSBC.
