Credit Rating affected by use of unauthorized overdraft facilities?

Hello All,
Can anybody answer this question for me or point me in the right direction for an answer?
If you go into an unauthorized overdraft does this affect your credit rating? If so, any idea as to the extent? Does it take several repeated dips into it to count or is once enough?

Yes, if the bank records monthly status on your account (dont know which account you have mind) they will record the balance and the overdraft limit which will be zero in your case, if you dont clear the overdraft balance within about a month or when they next update your status history on your credit file they will record a missed payment marker against you.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want?
