Possible Halifax cashback loophole
I am not sure whether it works. I have a Egg account, which it enables to make email payment from one to the others. I used my Egg to make an email payment to myself using my Halifax cashback account, (it uses my debit card details to draw the money out). Then I pick up the email payment, it would transfer the money into…

The Abbey are a farce

On 28/12/05 i ordered a replacement card as mine was damaged.I was told my card would be defunct after 6 days and that the card would be with me within 4-7 days. I ensured i had the funds on me to last at least a day or two should the card…

Nationwide
Have read Martin's guide on best bank accounts - the interest rates are tempting but the horror stories I've heard about A&L and Lloyds put me of completely. I'm with Smile but a bit peeved that they've cut their interest rate on the Current account and not told me - and also increased the rate on their credit card by a…

Hi all, i'm currently with Natwest and have been since day one and i'm thinking of switching to another bank.
