When is/ was the last date to put £1500 in SMILE account for the free wine?

It depends on what offer you received (and when) If it was to open an account by 10th December you should still have another four weeks. Here's what my email from Smile said in the small print:

I sent them a secure message on Tuesday asking when I could expect the wine voucher. For good measure, I also said I would be interested in their current account transfer service and what the advantages of the smilemore account were.

For an internet account, I would expect a reply within 24 hours and I’m still waiting…

There is no way I could seriously entertain using this as a main bank account.
