TalkTalk Broadband
Hi everyone I hope you can help me. My broadband provider at the moment is TalkTalk. The service lately has been poor, the internet drops out constantly and I have to reset the router frequently. When it does work, the connection is not good. My housemate called the helpline last night and was on hold until it closed so…

Broadband switching: Horror stories are putting me off!
Morning all! I have the notice through from Sky that my broadband/phone deal will be increasing from £35.40 to £39.40 next month (including free calls). The BT deal of £24.49 before cashback, etc, (with only weekend calls, but that is fine, as we don't need the full call package any more), therefore looks a good option.…

Terrible cabling across my property, any advice?
Hi, I hope someone can offer some advice. I live in a semi detached cottage in London. The cottage is very old 500 years, listed, and in a conservation area so you can imagine it's pretty hard to change or do anything that looks non-original to the cottage. My front door opens directly onto the pavement, so no front garden…

One bill telecom
One of the cheapest providers at first impression. However my experience has been poor, it seems when I took the contract I was upgraded to a contract including cal divert, which it seems is a 24mth contract not a 12. There is no engineer support, you have to pay if the line has an issue, the broadband seems to be very…

BT Broadband - advice on taking the case to the ombudsman
Hi, Can anyone provide advice on submitting a case through the Ombudsman? How does Plusnet Fibre compare with BT Fibre?
Okay firstly I should say I have been happy with my BT Fibre, I live very close to my exchange and the speed I get is better than they advertise. My yearly contract is soon up and I've tried haggling several times to no avail. I was thinking of trying Plusnet Fibre Extra, for 12 months. I would get some T.C.B then return…

Virgin Media Broadband Contract
Hi, My VM broadband is just coming in at £30 per month. I called them today to see if I could get a better rate but the person I spoke to was dismissive and said either cancel or pay the £30. Is there any email address that can be used instead and is £30 per month the best I can expect?

I just cancelled Sky broadband.
Hello. My fibre, line rental and anytime extra at £23 PM is ending in 5 days and the price will then be £47 PM. I was not happy with the chat…

Improved broadband options in rural/semi-rural areas
Perhaps not news, but for some reason there seems to have been an explosion in broadband choice for those living in semi/rural locations (where traditionally only BT services would be available). While the broadband speeds may still be a problem its worth checking the availability of these company's SEPARATELY from the…
