You might need to explain aa bit more, what is the £124 for?
You can cancel up to 14 days after your order date, its not 14 days after you have broadband running.0 -
Hi
I assume because I have 6mths to run on my talktalk contract this is what I owe for leaving early.
I signed up for a bt deal(£29pm fibre 1 and weekend calls plus weekend calls and (heres the decider £150 mastercard )),I assumed I had run my contract out with Talktalk(12mths)but it seems I was in an 18mths contract with 6mths left to run so by letter was told I would have to pay the £124aprox .When I rang BT to cancel the switch team said if I continued with the switch,to pay the talktalk bill and email it to the switch team and bt would reimburse me via payment holiday for the £124.
I was wondering if this was too good to be true, and was after some advice on whether to continue with the switch or not,as I don't want to be left out of pocket,or is this common practice to get custom?
Hope this clarifies my situation!

'payment holiday'? I'm presuming that's typo but can't work out what it's supposed to be?0 -
payment holiday means they would take it off my monthly bill0

Are you sure its worth going to BT ? It's never easy getting vouchers out of them.
Other companies EE? have offered to pay exit fee's before, but normally its advertised/written down.
I honestly wouldn't move to BT just for cashback. You can't trust them0
