Virgin Media Broadband Contract

Hi,

My VM broadband is just coming in at £30 per month. I called them today to see if I could get a better rate but the person I spoke to was dismissive and said either cancel or pay the £30.

Is there any email address that can be used instead and is £30 per month the best I can expect?

YOu need to ring up and press the option I want to leave (not house move).

Tell them you want to leave because of price. THey should offer you £3 off.

If that is not enough, say your leaving which starts off a 30 day process.

Is £27 the best deal I can expect?

Getting £3 off is easy. If you want more off you need to tell them you are leaving and see if they phone u back
  • I have bb only, I managed to get it to £18pm by saying I was leaving. 2 days later they contacted me to say as a loyal customer they can lower the price to £18 for another 12 month contract

They dropped down to £26 on Friday but I said it was not good enough so they triggered the 30 day cancellation process.

£26 seems to be the best price I can get.

A phone call yesterday resulted in a counter offer of £16.25 for 12 months, they said this was based on my long period of time with the company. Overall a great result, thanks all of MSE for your help.
