Hello.
My fibre, line rental and anytime extra at £23 PM is ending in 5 days and the price will then be £47 PM.
Had a chat last week and they would not go below £34 PM i think for 10 months on a 12 month contract.
Went onto cancellations today and my lot goes of on 20th March as 30 days notice.
I was not happy with the chat person as when they askes me a question and i replied the chat persons reply/question had nothing to do with my answer i gave like i told them the reason i wanted to leave and reply was what date do you want to leave. I said what dates can i have and reply was you have a £5 discount on the £47 which has nothing to do with my last answer. Also asked during notice period can i swap ISP and reply was "anything else i can help you with today?".
I think they were chatting to 2/3/4 or more people at once as the chat replies were hard to follow.
Anyhow Sky have given me 20 March as cut off day so now will look for replacement and was considering BT or Plusnet.

You are aware that you'll lose your landline number and possibly incur a fee on reinstating the line again because you've cancelled it rather than switching providers?0

Plusnet are doing Fiber £27 inc line rentalDo you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

I have checked MySky app and online account but there are no offers showing so maybe i will not be offered any or Sky have stopped doing offers when people stop services.0 -

PlusNet's fibre offer at £27.50 is for an 18 month term, with 12 months' being only £25 (Odd that this is the case, as longer term usually means cheaper . )
The website is not very straightforward , so I can't find all package charges, but we pay 99p for caller display, which is not included, and £8 for Anytime calls including to mobiles. The international package is possibly £12.
The snag with an 18 month term is that line rental saver works over 12 month periods. (again, saver is mentioned, but the price seems to be hidden, unless you start an application, which opens you up to pestering, as they mention calling you if you don't take the deal.).0 -
I received tv offers, but no phone/broadband offers after leaving Sky, but this makes sense as most who leave will have started a contract elsewhere, so be tied in.0

I checked this morning on Sky app, Sky box and online account and there are no offers showing for me like there is when you cancel TV.
On Sky online where states what broadband and calls package you have mine is blank when it used to say Fibre unlimitted and anytime extra.
I checked Plusnt last night and the deal was £34 pm for 12 months plus i think £60 Quidco cashback if it goes through.0 -
Depending on what Fibre speeds you want Vodafone offer £26 for up to 38mb and £31 for up to 76mb, less if you have a mobile contract with them.0

I only want upto 40mb which has been near enough with Sky.
I also want anytime calls to 01 ,02, 0800 ,0870, 0845 and mobiles just like i am with Sky.
I also only want a 12 month contract as my firm maybe closing one of the 2 UK bases or moving abroad alltogether which has nothing to do with Brexit so we are being told.0
